In order to help others, who are trying to decide how soon to start visual training, we would appreciate it if you could write a few words of encouragement. (What life was like before therapy and how it is now- please list out what you or your child has gained by doing therapy.) Before vision therapy, I struggled with driving a lot. I had trouble judging distance and using my peripheral vision to see objects. Now, both those skills are much improved. I have since gotten my driver’s license and am able to comfortably drive myself and my siblings to different places. I also had trouble reading. My eyes would get tired and I would often fall asleep whenever I tried to read. I can read now and I rarely fall asleep, unless I’m very tired.
